Gel electrophoresis combs form Genesee Scientific are built to a high standard of quality and durability. These combs casts multichannel pipetor compatible wells. The teeth in thes combs are spaced at 9mm center-to-center so that the wells formed will be compatible with 8 or 12-channel pipettors. These combs will allow sampling loading into each well. The teeth are precision machined from tough acrylic and the spine is made from thick PTFE to offer better heat resistance. While the recommendation is to allow the freshly dissolved agarose to cool, these combs and gel trays will withstand abuses that will damage inferior injection molded equipment. Every comb is labled with the number of teeth and tooth thickness - avoid counting teeth to find the right comb! A complete line of gel box accessories is available.
