This is one of the thicker grades in the Ahlstrom thick paper series. Ahlstrom 243 offers both moderately high flow and absorption and is recommended for chromatography of heavy solute loading.
Thick papers are 100% cotton grades that are used in chromatography techniques where solutes are heavily loaded. Thick papers are ideal grades for electrophoresis techniques.
