HandyStep® touch electronic repeating pipette is the first of its kind built with a user intuitive touchscreen and automatic tip recognition. Inspired by smartphones, the touchscreen is beautifully color-coded and pipetting applications are easily accessible with a swipe of a finger. This repeater features standard pipetting modes pipette, multi-dispense and auto-dispense as well as an additional Favorites feature that saves all of your complex procedures. An ergonomic STEP push button located in the back provides effortless volume filling and repeat dispensing. The instrument comes with automatic tip recognition that is compatible with BRAND® PD-Tip™ II and other third-party syringe tips. Once your work is finished, simply press the tip ejection icon on the touchscreen for a hands-free disposal of the contaminated tip. With the new HandyStep® touch series, you’ll have the right solution at hand for every application.
BrandTech HandyStep® repetitive pipette series come in both manual and electronic. Similar to all BRAND instruments, these were developed with accuracy, precision and dependability. Each repeater is supplied with universal AC adapter (for USA, Europe, UK, Japan, Australia and New Zealand), shelf/rack mount, sample PD-Tip™ II, operating manual, performance certificate and one year warranty.

What is a repeater pipette?
It's a liquid handling instrument that's able to aspirate up to 50ml of liquid and dispense the same volume repeatedly. They're ideally for tube or plate filling, aliquoting reagents and kit usage.

BRAND PD-Tip™ II dispenser tips, classic BRAND PD-Tip™ syringe tips, Fisherbrand tips, VWRbrand tips, Ritips, Labnet Combi-syringes, Rainin Encode tips, and Eppendorf Combitips. They will even work with the proprietary-design Eppendorf Combitips Advanced. Other proprietary designs, like those from Wheaton, Oxford and ThermoLabsystems will not work with the HandyStep® touch.
Please reference the HandyStep S Calibration Instructions sheet located in the links section of this website. Because the instrument and the syringe tips are equal partners in the accuracy of the instrument, if you find that your instrument is not performing to specification with third-party tips, we recommend that you try BRAND PD-Tip™ syringe tips to confirm the source of the error. PD-Tip™ syringe tips are supplied with a Certificate of Performance in every box. It should be noted that bubbles in the tip are also a common source of error. Adjustment of the instrument by the end-user is not possible. If you find that your instrument requires adjustment, we recommend that you contact us directly at support@geneseesci.com.
