What does the LED battery light on my accu-jet S tell me?
Solid green is battery fully charged. Blinking green is battery trickle charging. Blinking red is battery requires charging soon. Solid red is battery needs to be charged.
It takes 4 hours to fully charge and will operate on 8 hours of continuous use.
Replacement 0.2µm and 3µm membrane filters are available in non-sterile and sterile. Non-sterile membranes come in a pack of 10 as Cat #: 91-600F02 (0.2µm) and Cat #: 91-600F03 (3µm). Sterile membranes come in individual blister packs of 1 as Cat #: 91-600F02S (0.2µm) and Cat #: 91-600F03S (3µm).
The 0.2µm membrane filter is for standard use. You will need the 3µm membrane filter if you are using Class A glassware AND want to obtain the proper drain times. The 3µm membrane filter must be used in the gravity dispense mode.
It is recommended to change the filter out every 3 months. However, if the filter becomes wet or dirty, please change immediately.
There are three ways you can adjust the speed. The first is with the upside down triangle mode buttons on the back of the pipette - gravity and power delivery. The second is the adjustable speed wheel on the side. The last are the finger tip push buttons - the more pressure you apply the quicker you aspirate or dispense.
Only the menbrane filter is autoclavable at 121 °C (250 °F), 2 bar absolute (30 psi) with a holding time of at least 15 minutes. Please reference page 50 of the user manual for more information.
Occasionally wipe the housing with a damp cloth. When properly used, the instrument is maintenance-free. Please reference page 47 of the user manual for more information.
